There are times when mainstream dressing is apropos (although you always manage to look a cut above,) and then there are times when it's fabulous to have that "Off-Beat Style." You can wear clothing that stands out and leaves them with their envious jaws agape. They'll be wondering how you could be so genius as to put these items together (when they never would think of it) and manage to look so very terrific ... followed by thoughts of how plain and ordinary their own outfits look. Now, we're not trying to create harsh feelings toward anyone. Think of it more as an education for the masses.
