"Gucci" -- Now there's a name we all know - and how could we not? Gucci is the largest selling Italian brand in the world! A bit about the company: It was founded in 1921 by Guccio Gucci who opened the first Gucci boutique in Rome in 1938. In the mid-1940's the first "Bamboo Handle" Gucci purse was created, which is still sold today and is a fashion staple for any gal who goes for the true fashion classics. Gucci became a household word when scarves, handbags and sunglasses were being worn and touted by Jackie O, Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly, hence by every other woman who wished to associate herself with those glamorous beauties. After Guccio died, his sons took over the company and nearly brought it to total ruins with their highly publicized and often vicious family fistfight brauls, often including the throwing of objects such as expensive Gucci luggage at each other. When the company was finally taken over by Maurizio Gucci (a grandson of Guccio,) in the early 1980's, outside designers and management were brought in and the company was finally back on track to become the Gucci name
There ain't nothing bad that could be said about 3/4 Length Pants! They're elongating to the legs, youthful, fun, comfortable and depending on the style of the pants and the style you are going for, they can be worn in a variety of ways, to accomplish a variety of flattering looks. Of course, ballerina flats are always a great match for them (be they dressy or casual;) full-length boots can certainly bring about a very chic appeal (but do stay away from ankle boots, as that look will only get you a more "stumpifying" effect;) and who could ever say "no" to a fabulous pair of needle-nosed, spike-heeled pumps for that "1950's Naughty Pin-Up Girl" look? We see them being appropriate for almost every situation and a must-have for every wardrobe.

This fall, trendy types will ditch their dark jeans and slip into a pair of dark leather pants (or recessionista-approved pleather versions). And we’re not talking about boot-cut biker-babe leather pants: The versions Derek Lam, Alexander Wang and Diane von Furstenberg whipped up fit close to the body and—believe it or not—seem to magically erase five pounds. Beat that, David Blaine.
