We're gonna let you in on a little secret: Hiking is mostly walking ... in nature - a little up, a little down - and then comes a really good excuse to sit down with friends at some woodsy lodge somewhere and have a well deserved beer. We're not saying it's not work, but it's fun-work - the good stuff! The angle is to wear something that is very comfortable (never binding or bunching,) moves well with you, breathes, and of course looks maximum great with minimum effort.
