Of the four seasons, Fall is this writer's favorite, not because of the gorgeous colors of the changing season, or the crisp, anticipatory winds that will send leaves whirling and laughing round my feet like mischievous children, not even for the fantastic holiday parties that are filled with good times and great friends. No. Although those are all on my list of the best of the best, the thing that makes fall A-#1 to me is the magnificently rich fabrics, knits and styles that are so pleasurably necessary once the cold starts to set in.
